Our Practice

Here at Santa Barbara Eyecare we are truly a family practice. Founding Doctor, Doug Katsev MD, and his wife Nina Katsev OD have over 40 years of eye care experience. The two of them started their medical training at Emory University. Douglas did his Residency in St Louis, MO while Nina did her Optometry training at the University Of Missouri. 25 years later Dr. Cailyn Katsev would graduate from the same Optometry school and eventually join the practice here in Santa Barbara. They are so excited to have you join the family.

Mission

The mission of our practice is to provide excellent full service medical and surgical eye care to the residents of the Santa Barbara area using the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques combined with a small town, personalized service.
